In 2023 we made the decision to refocus the collection. We are in the process of removing those varieties that are disease prone, that don't ripen in this country or are for indoor growing only. The collection has been reduced to around 230 varieties. The full list has been updated but is still in flux so do contact us if you have a specific variety in mind.

We sell bare rooted vines and bare wood cuttings. We will start shipping again when the vines are dormant at the end of November / early December 2024 and continue until end March 2025. The exact date depends upon how quickly the plants come out of dormancy. Do email if you want advice as to what to grow. This year we produced very limited rooted plants so many varieties will only be available as bare wood cuttings. So contact us early to avoid disappointment!
Great article in Country Life magazine published in December 2013 describing our collection. Thank-you to Stephen Anderton, The Times gardening correspondent and the renowned garden photographer Clive Nichols for his gorgeous photographs.
March 2010 - Plant Heritage awarded us with the Full National Collection status for Vitis Vinifera (outdoor) and Hybrids. It is great recognition for our progress in taking on the collection from Brian Edwards.
